Renee Banson has been teaching, choreographing and dancing for over 20 years. She is a former professional dancer and has a BFA in Dance from Temple University, Philadelphia. She was a 2007 recipient of the "Rocky Awards " ( Best of Dance in Philadelphia). Ms. Banson has choreographed original work and musical theatre for local performing groups, high schools and college dance ensembles. She received two choreographic fellowships from PA Council on the Arts and is the director of The Field, Philadelphia.
Ms. Banson currently teaches modern dance and ballet at Bryn Mawr and Cabrini College, The Suzanne Stage Studio, and is the Director of the Upper School Dance Company at The Baldwin School. She loves teaching and mentoring young people and developing their individual talents.
