Dr. Kathleen England is the Physical Eductation Coordinator, overseeing Baldwin’s Lower, Middle, and Upper School Physical Education Programs.
Dr. England was a three sport student-athlete at Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, Ohio where she earned 12 varsity letters. She was the first female at her high school to receive the Columbus Agonis Award for top athlete during her senior year. She received a basketball and softball scholarship to Kent State University where she graduated with her B.S. in Health and Physical Education. Dr. England then received a Teaching Assistantship at the University of Iowa where she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Athletic Administration.
She has taught health and physical education for the last 20 years at the elementary, middle, high school, and college/university levels. She has coached high school and middle school basketball; college, high school and middle school softball; and college, high school and middle school field hockey.
Dr. England is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport. She received her Ph.D. in Teacher Education/Physical Education at The Ohio State University.
