Varsity Squash Coach and Baldwin Squash Pro since 2008, Karen Kronemeyer is an international Squash Pro from Australia with a world ranking of 34. Prior to moving to the United States to pursue her passion for coaching full time, Ms. Kronemeyer had been coaching part-time in Amsterdam for six years. While Ms. Kronemeyer still makes the occasional appearance at a pro event, her passion lies in coaching kids of all skill levels and introducing them to the sport that she loves. With her own playing career in the background, Karen brings much of her international knowledge of the game to each lesson she gives.
Since she began coaching at Baldwin, the team has propelled to national status, earning a #3 rank at the US Squash High School Squash Championship in 2012 and 2011 and a #4 finish in 2010. The team captured the MASA Championship for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2011 and finished #5 in 2010. Under Coach Kronemyer's direction, the team has also won the InterAc League title for three back-to-back years from 2010 - 2012.
In her four years at Baldwin, Ms. Kronemeyer has coached numerous athletes who have ranked in the US Squash Juniors. She has coached 5 Academic All Americans and four athletes who have continued playing the sport in college.
