Amy Saler Ostroff '85 operates Love to Langa, a 501 (c)(3) that supports an orphanage outside of Cape Town, South Africa.

Inspired by a trip to Cape Town, Africa in 2008, Amy and her husband Jon started Love to Langa. The organization supports the work of the Siyaphambili Orphan Village, which was established in 2005 by Ndileka Xameni. Formerly a social worker, Xameni responded to the growing number of young children orphaned by parents with HIV/AIDS. The orphanage currently serves 250 orphaned and vulnerable children, including 85 grandparents, 35 CHILD-headed households and 25 teen mothers.
