At this event, Sally Powell will share information about the school’s current financial outlook and the metrics used to evaluate and ensure Baldwin’s continued forward momentum as an institution. She will also introduce John Dewey, chair of Baldwin’s Board of Trustees.  John is a current parent and has shared many connections with the school throughout his lifetime.   
 
We will host two additional forums in 2011; one on January 5 (snow date: January 6) and the other on April 12.

 

The January event will be dedicated to dialogue about academics, specifically the new Upper School schedule, the introduction of Baldwin’s capstone courses, college admissions and testing results, and our vision for girls’ education in the 21st century.
 
In April we will focus on helping our girls develop as individuals and members of a larger community. The evening will include conversations about ethics, being a global citizen, approaches to character building and the creation of co-curricular balance in our students’ lives.
