Prospective Student Athletes

Taylor Jordan was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL where she rowed for Pine Crest School. After graduating high school, she moved up north to row for Bucknell University. During her four years there, she was a member of the varsity rowing program, competing competitively all four years. Throughout her collegiate career, she had multiple race experiences with the most memorable being: racing Princeton/Harvard/Cornell at Princeton, competing at the ECAC and Eastern Sprints regattas, and travelling to England to race in the Reading Amateur Regatta and the Henley Women’s Regatta. She was also a member of the Patriot League winning squad four years in a row.

In high school, Ms. Jordan rowed in the varsity eight all four years, including two years as stroke seat. At Bucknell, she was stroke of the second varsity eight as a freshman and sat four seat in the varsity eight for the remainder of her time as a Bison.

As a student-athlete Ms. Jordan performed very well. She was added to the Patriot League Honor Roll twice, named Bison Athlete of the Week in 2011, placed on the second team All-Patriot League, graduated Cum Laude, and was named a CRCA Scholar Athlete in 2011.

Ms. Jordan has been involved with rowing for nine years and has found leadership roles throughout. She was named recruitment coordinator early on at Bucknell and was responsible for assisting the coaches in planning and implementing recruiting visits. She also was voted as a team representative for the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee), which met monthly to discuss Division I sports programs issues.

Ms. Jordan currently resides in West Chester, PA.
