CONCERT NEWS
THE LOWER SCHOOL CONCERTS are on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Proclamation Church, 278 Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr, 19010.Grades 1, 2, and 3 will perform from 7:00 – 7:40 p.m. and Grades IV and V from 8:10 – 8:50 p.m. Students are to wear modest, age appropriate dresses or skirts and blouses. No make-up. High heels, flip flops, or platform shoes shouldnotbe worn for safety reasons. Girls are to be at the designated rehearsal room for warm-ups at6:30 pmfor Grades I, II and III and7:45for Grades IV and V.
DIRECTIONS FROM BRYN MAWR: proceed south on Bryn Mawr Avenue, less than a mile past the WAWA (at the corner of Haverford Avenue and Bryn Mawr Avenue). The Church will be on the north side of Bryn Mawr Avenue.
ARRIVAL AND PARKING Information:
First Concert: Parents for Grades I-III should drop their daughters and the "elderly" off at the covered entrance and park in the lot at the top of the hill - signs will mark where to park. Please do not use the lots directly behind the church. Parents should walk down the hill to enter through the Courtyard entrance (path will be marked.) Parking at the top of the hill will allow all first concert cars to clear out efficiently following the performance. All cars must exit through the Jack M. Barrack Academy entrance. Signs will help you follow the route back to Bryn Mawr Avenue. Please remember that girls and parents participating in the second Concert will begin assembling in the Church foyer by 8 p.m. Help us by making room for the next group immediately following the first concert.
Second Concert: Parents of girls in Grades IV-V should drop their daughters and the "elderly" off at the covered entrance and park in the 3 large parking lots directly behind the church. These will be marked. The Church requests that no one park on the grass or around the drive-through. The front entrance must remain open without any cars blocking the safe driving paths and emergency exits. All cars will exit through the Jack M. Barrack Academy entrance. Signs will help you follow the route back to Bryn Mawr Avenue.
