Congratulations to Lower School students for their support of the 76ers Read for Ronald Program.

69 Lower School students participated in the Read-a-thon.

They read a total of 99,504 minutes during the month of February.

They earned a total of$5,448.00for the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House!

Our top readers are as follows:

First Place –Blake Landow (Grade II)

Second Place –Talya Polak  (Grade V)

Third Place –Emily Grace  (Grade V)

Honorable Mention –Elise Kait  (Grade III) 

Over 4,000 students participated in the annual read-a-thon and raised just under $100,000 for the families staying at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.

Elton Brand, Tom McGinnis, and Ronald McDonald were on hand to honor three students from each of the 35 participating schools at the awards ceremony held on March 23. All of the participating schools  received a personalized plaque for their commitment to the program.
