| Baldwin places seventh in national squash tournament |

Baldwin's Varsity Squash Team placed seventh in the Girls Division I at the 2009 U.S. National High School Team Squash Championships held at Yale University in New Haven, CT Feb. 6 to 8. Over 800 players, representing over 100 teams from 16 New England and Mid-Atlantic states competed in the Championships, which were sponsored by U. S. Squash.
A total of 48 girls teams competed with 16 teams in each division. Team members who participated in the tournament include freshmen Marina Crowe and Alexa Tzarnas; sophomores Hilary Gray, Alisha Maity, Caroline Sawin and Samantha Shein; junior Alexandra Sawin; and senior co-captains Megan Ruth and Stephanie Tzarnas. The team is coached by Karen Kronemeyer. |
