| Baldwin runners win prizes in Main Line 5K |

Thanks to all who represnted Baldwin in the annual Main Line 5K Run and Fun Walk held Saturday, Sept. 27. Baldwin once again was a supporting sponsor of the event, which is run by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce for the benefit of the Chamber's Foundation. This year, a Baldwin student, a faculty member, a parent and an alumna won prizes in the Run. Baldwin's "team" also placed fourth overall.
Baldwin winers were:
Eighth Grader Arden Simone - first in her age division with a time of 22:37
Parent Mary Braverman - third overall and first in her age division with a time of 20:28
Teacher Christiane de Boissen - first in her age division with a time of 31:34
Alumna Binney Connel Wietlisbach - second in her age division with a time of 24:34
Baldwin's team of Arden and Andre Simone, Gregg Levinson and Christiane de Boissen placed fourth out of 11 teams.
The MLCC Foundation awards college scholarships to deserving local students (including Baldwin students) and provides funding for the 17 local volunteer fire companies and emergency medical services in the region. |
