A Message from Lower School Director Baiba Vasys

Recently Lower School celebrated BEAR Day, a long time tradition at Baldwin. The acronym stands for Be Excited About Reading! Guest readers from all departments of our school visited Lower School classrooms and shared their favorite books with the girls. I had the pleasure of visiting a fourth grade class and read to them about Rachel Carson’s life. The girls’ interest and enthusiasm was delightful to see and the time went by far too quickly!
