A Message from Lower School Director Baiba Vasys
We are in the first full week of school and your daughters are acclimating to their schedules with flying colors. The days have been busy! From singing in chorus to investigations in science, Baldwin girls know how to show their talents and their good problem solving skills.

A Message from Middle School Director Lois Pressman
The second week of school began on a positive note. The girls seemed comfortable with their schedules and ready and eager to get down to the business of learning and participating actively in Middle School activities. Assembly allowed Grade VIII students to show their leadership in a variety of ways while Grades VII and VI students asked thoughtful questions about school procedures and willingly contributed to the discussions. This is just the beginning of a yearlong process for all Middle School students as they take on more responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

A Message from Head of School Sally Powell
We are off to a great start for the 2008-2009 academic year! Since last Wednesday we have held our PreK/K orientation, our new parent orientation, our Upper School student leadership weekend and the Upper School academic evening. Parents, girls, faculty and staff are easily slipping into familiar routines and school is well underway. Please remember that there are many other events for parents throughout the next couple of weeks so check the calendar and be sure not to miss out. Thank you all for your part in making our first week so successful.
