Prospective Student Athletes

Kathleen Harte Simone has served as Assistant Director of Athletics since Fall 2008. Her primary responsibilities include working with student-athletes, the coaching staff, and Blue Gray. Ms. Simone is also instrumental in the Baldwin Athletics’ website, Sports Information and Marketing.
 
Ms. Simone has also been the Varsity Lacrosse Coach since Spring 2007 and served as Varsity Field Hockey Coach from 2006 - 2010. In that time, she has coach two All Americans, nineteen Academic All Americans, and numerous athletes who have continued their playing career in college. Under her leadership, the Varsity Lacrosse Team has ranked as high as #20 in Pennsylvania in post-season rankings.
 
Ms. Simone has served on committees of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association and has earned coaching certifications in both sports.  
 
Prior to Baldwin, Ms. Simone worked in the marketing communications field. From 2003 - 2008, she was Co-Founder, Co-Publisher and Editor of In Your Prime. Prior to that, Ms. Simone was Marketing Manager for Carroll Reed, Inc. and National Public Relations Manager for Nutri/System, Inc. She has been a contributing writer for numerous publications throughout the years.
 
Ms. Simone received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She was a scholarship athlete at Temple in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse; during her time, the teams were ranked in Division I top ten national polls every season. Ms. Simone earned Field Hockey All American status in high school at Plymouth-Whitemarsh, Whitemarsh, PA. She resides in Radnor, PA with her husband, Andre, and two Baldwin girls, Brooke ’11 (Georgetown University Field Hockey) and Arden ’13.
