The Internet presents many positive opportunities for learning but it also requires tremendous responsibility.  A student’s decision online can not only affect themselves but also other people in their lives which is why Baldwin is now offering an evening session for parents on Internet Safety.

Hosted by David Anderson, Laura Blankenship, and Kelly Grimmett, this session will occur on Wednesday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room.  We highly recommend this event to parents in order to further their knowledge on safely navigating the Internet.  We hope to see you there!
Put some Spirit in your Spring!  Browse the fabulous Baldwin Spirit Gear brochure (located under the "Links & Downloads" section) for ways to put some zing in your Spring and show your support for Baldwin.  For more information on this and other PA Events, please click on the PA Newsletter button in the upper right hand corner.
Lights!  Gala!  Action!

By now you should have received your personal invitation to the Gala Pre-Party on Friday, April 8.  Please RSVP by returning the reply card included with your invite.  You can also apply online here.  If you'd like to help "light up" the Gala by loaning your strings of non-twinkling, white holiday lights please contact Karen Sass at kbuchkovich-sass@comcast.net. The lights will be returned after the Gala in plenty of time for the holiday season!
As you may know, one of Baldwin's colleagues, Mr. Khari Baten, has taken a leave of absence in order to deal with serious medical issues.  While he is feeling better and working hard on his recovery, the medical expenses are still mounting.  To help alleviate some of this pressure, Khari's friends and colleagues have established a support website with information about his progress and ways that we can help.  All of us wish him a swift and successful outcome.

We are about to start course sign-ups for next year. Your daughters will each receive a course catalog and a course selection form to fill out (complete with a parental signature). Please call the Upper School Director if you have questions about specific course options or general questions about course load, curriculum etc. Department heads are a great resource regarding honors and advanced classes and are available via email or telephone any time.

Juniors and Seniors are planning their Prom-- a dinner cruise departing from Penns Landing. The school will provide a chartered coach to and from Baldwin's campus for any interested couple at no charge; if your daughter is interested in this service, please e-mail Eric Benke at ebenke@baldwinschool.org. Please note: girls and their dates will not be permitted to drive themselves to the boat, but other arrangements (parents, limousines, etc.) are acceptable.

The Baldwin Athletic Center incorporates several eco-friendly design initiative including solar reflectance roofing, the use of regionally extracted materials, the installation of Energy Star equipment and appliances, and an indoor air quality management system.
