Private Lesson Policies
1. There are 14 lessons given each semester; 28 lessons during the school year.
2. No lessons will be scheduled or given until the registration form has been completed online, mailed in, or your information has been emailed to cschulte@baldwinschool.org.
3. In September, the Private Music Instructor will notify you of your child’s lesson time.
4. Lessons missed without advance notice will NOT be made-up. Please notify the Private Instructor A.S.A.P. if a lesson has to be cancelled for any reason: field trips, medical appointment, illness, etc. Only two make-up lessons will be given each semester.
5. The Music Instructor must notify the Parent and the student at least 24 hours in advance if there is a change in the regularly scheduled lesson time.
6. No lesson will be made-up if the child forgets to come to the lesson, forgets their music or their instrument. Please help your child remember their instrument, music and time for their lesson each week.
7. Your child will learn to play their instrument with regular practice and your encouragement. Music is definitely rewarding and worthwhile!
