When Ada Mutch graduated from Baldwin in 1922, she was the recipient of the school’s coveted “Gym Prize,” an honor that is the equivalent of today’s White Blazer A
ward, a designation given to the school’s best all-around athlete, as chosen by her peers. As the winner, she was bestowed with the bragging rights of this honor and a small plaque.
On Friday, April 30, 2010, 88 years after her graduation from Baldwin, our oldest alumna finally received a White Blazer to call her own.
