Alumna Stefanie Porges '80, MD, has been reappointed to the Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Dr. Porges will serve for a term that expires April 1, 2020. She fills one of the two non-lawyer positions on the Board.

Alumna Binney Wietlisbach '81 was honored on September 28 with the Helena Devereux Women in Leadership Award at the annual Gold Leaf Celebration luncheon.

Alumna Meg Gaines '73, a distinguished clinical professor at University of Wisconsin (UW) Law School, has won the 2017 Ellen Stovall Award for Patient-Centered Cancer Care. Meg received the honor for championing individual patients' rights through the Center for Patient Partnerships, an innovative resource that is transforming cancer care daily for scores of patients and families.

Alumna Susan Swan Smith '78, Chief Giving Day Officer at Communities Foundation of Texas and North Texas Giving Day Team Lead, was instrumental in the record-record-breaking $39.4 million that was raised in the 18-hour North Texas Giving Day.
