Emma Sass '17 Selected Main Line Athlete of the Week

Varsity tennis number one singles player Emma Sass '17 was selected Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week. Sass, a 2014 first team All-Inter-Ac League and All-Main Line performer, is off to a fast start for the Polar Bears this season. She won her first two matches of the season against Lower Merion and Conestoga without dropping a set.

Steelman '16 Wins Gold Medal at Pan American Junior Championships

Varsity squash co-captain Morgan Steelman '16 and her doubles partner Wil Hagen won a gold medal in the mixed doubles competition for Team USA squash in the annual Pan American Junior Championships on September 3 in Resistencia, Argentina.

The Baldwin Athletic Association held its annual awards banquet on Monday, June 1 in the Athletic Center. Over 250 guests attended the event to recognize team and individual athletic achievements from the 2014-15 season.

Dietrich '17 Wins PAISAA 400m State Championship

Jen Dietrich '17 won the 400m state championship at the Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PAISAA) Track and Field Championship held on Wednesday afternoon at The Hill School in Pottstown. Dietrich ran a blistering 58.05 to win the first individual gold medal and state title in Baldwin track and field history.

Maddie Dawkins '15 Named ECNL Soccer S'Hero of the Month

The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) recently announced Madison Dawkins '15 as the April S'Hero of the Month award recipient for community leadership. As part of Amazing Young Women and the #BeautifulAmbition campaign, the ECNL is sharing the stories of these S'Heroes who are role models for our nation's young female athletes who are balancing their drive to become elite athletes with the pressures of fitting in with social peers. Crew Junior Quad Wins Silver at Cities

Baldwin raced in the Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Association City Championships at the Schuylkill River on Sunday May 3. Overall, Baldwin crew qualified for the finals in three out of five events entered. The highlight of the day for the program was winning the second place silver medal in the Junior Quadruple Sculls event.

Alex Wake: Shedding Light on Domestic Violence

On Saturday, May 2, the Baldwin community will gather for the Alex Wake '05 Memorial 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk to honor Alexandra Wake, a gentle, talented 14-year-old Baldwin student who was the victim of a horrific act of domestic violence that took not only her life, but that of her mother and grandparents on Jan. 15, 2002.
