Kit Conklin Named Newest Young Playwright

Katrina Conklin '20, fondly referred to as "Kit," was recognized as a first-place winner in the Philadelphia Young Playwrights' Annual Playwriting Festival and her play, B&E is one of just six winners to be featured in the organization's New Voices Workshop Productions.

Baldwin Faculty Win JSTOR Lesson Plan Award

Baldwin's Director of Library and Information Services Lisa Lopez-Carickhoff and Upper School History Teacher Jennifer Cutler were recently selected as winners of a lesson plan competition initiated by the research database JSTOR. Their lesson plan was one of only three winning entries that will be shared with other educators near and far on JSTOR's Teaching Resources website.
