Women on the Rise Speaker Series Kicks Off With Monica Yunus

The event, organized by a group of students led by Stephanie Blank '17, featured Monica Yunus, an American operatic soprano and co-founding director of the New York-based Sing for Hope.

Baldwin Alumna Creates Welcome Foundation

Baldwin alumna Marina Tomazinis, PhD, MPH '88 has recently created the Welcome Foundation to help those refugees stranded in Greece. The majority of the refugees arriving there come from war-torn Syria; others are from Afghanistan and Iraq. Almost 50 percent of these refugees are children.

Seniors Participate in Science Research Symposium

The Science Department hosted its fifth annual Science Student Research Symposium on Wednesday, November 9. Eight amazing senior scientists from the Class of 2017 spent their summers in research labs at the University of Washington, Wills Eye Hospital, June Laboratory at the Smilow Center for Translational Research, the University of Pennsylvania and the Thomas Jefferson University College of Medicine.

Baldwin Publishes The Baldwin Review

The Baldwin School is proud to announce it has published The Baldwin Review, its first ever collection of individual research papers produced by Upper School students. The project was initiated by junior Eliza Thaler '18, and its purpose is to provide a tangible platform for students to display their projects and papers that are independent from class assignments.
