Baldwin Athletics offers a variety of camps, clubs, clinics and private lessons throughout the school year and summer for students as well as non-students. See below for information on all of our current programs and offerings.

  • Camp Magar Day Camp

    Now in its' 74th year, the twenty-five acres of lovely grounds and spacious air-conditioned indoor accommodations of The Baldwin School provide for every need in all weather for this iconic day camp. 

    Three large playing fields, an archery range, five new tennis courts, volleyball court and “The Super Tent” for outdoor cooking and camping programs, provide for some of the outdoor activities.

    Full day campers will swim twice a day in the beautiful collegiate-sized pool. Each group is scheduled for a daily period of expert swimming instruction as well as a recreational swimming period. The swimming program is directed by qualified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and staffed by certified lifeguards.

    Indoors, the Camp is headquartered in the Lower School Building and each camp group will have its own classroom for a "home base." In addition, an Arts and Craft Studio and two gymnasiums (so large they can be divided into sections for rainy day play) all afford an opportunity for a rich and varied program.

  • Squash Day Camp

    A fun summer squash camp for girls and boys ages 5 - 15. Led by Madeline Perry, The Baldwin School's Director of Squash and the Head Coach of Baldwin Squash Academy.

    Morning Session: Warm Up, Squash Coaching/Routines and Activity
    12:00 p.m. Lunch
    Afternoon Session: Games and Fitness, Match Play, Cool Down
    3:00 p.m. Pick-up

  • Summer Tennis Clinics

    PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE: The clinic on July 26 originally from 2-4pm will now be 9-11am.

    The Baldwin Summer Tennis Clinics will be held on the following dates:

                Friday July 12             2:00 - 4:00 PM
                Friday July 26             9:00 - 11:00 AM
                Friday August 2          2:00 - 4:00 PM
                Friday August 9          2:00 - 4:00 PM

    LOCATION: Baldwin Tennis Courts
    COST: $95 per clinic (All checks made payable to The Baldwin School)
    FOR: Baldwin Upper School Students ONLY (grades 9-12)

  • Baldwin Squash Academy

    The Baldwin Squash Academy is a year round training program for players of all levels. It provides high level coaching within a fun environment. We also offer a non-academy drop-in class Mondays from 3:40-4:30. Interested players can be picked up from Baldwin Buds or one of the libraries. Cost is $25 per class.

    Clinic Phases - each are 6 weeks.
    Private lessons available to augment your training.

    Improving $650 per phase
    Monday: 4:30 - 5:45 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday: 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.

    Intermediate $650 per phase
    Monday: 5:45 - 7 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday: 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.

    Adjusted Winter Schedule (All of Phase 3 and 1st week of Phase 4)
    All Levels: 5:45 - 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

    Next Generation: Wednesdays 5:45 - 6:45 p.m., Fridays 5 - 6 p.m.
    Normal schedule resumes February 11

    Phase 1: September 10 - October 19
    Phase 2: October 22 - December 7 (1 week break for Thanksgiving Holiday)
    Phase 3: December 10 - February 1 (2 week break for Winter Vacation)
    Phase 4: February 4 - March 15
    Phase 5: March 18 - May 3 (1 week break for Spring Vacation)
    Phase 6: May 6 - May 31 (4 week phase)

    Discounts available: 15% discount for payment of whole year, 10% discount for half year and 5% discount for more than one sibling. Discounted payments must be made through Director of Squash Madeline Perry.

  • Baldwin Swim Club

    Baldwin Swim Club (BSC) offers competitive swimming for males and females ages 6 and up, with an emphasis on technique, race preparation, conditioning and fun. Personalized attention and instruction will be given to every swimmer. Our mission is to have a nationally recognized aquatics program that improves the quality of the competitive swimming experience, while giving young men and women the tools to succeed in life.

    BSC competes in sanctioned USA Swimming meets and follows the rules and regulations established by USA Swimming. The local swim committee for USA Swimming in our location is Middle Atlantic Swimming.

    Summer: June 10 - July 26
    Fee Range: $280 - $450

  • Private Sports Lessons

    Baldwin offers private sports lessons to current students and non-Baldwin students. If you are interested in receiving private sports lessons please contact Adrian Cox, Assistant Director of Athletics.
