Baldwin Students Recognized in NYT Podcast Contest

Five Baldwin students and alumnae were recognized this summer in The New York Times podcast contest. Students were invited to cover any topic, in any audio format, as long as they provided a complete listening experience in five minutes or less. From nearly 1,100 submissions, the following Baldwin students were recognized:

Winner: Maren Cohen ’24: Save Oakwell!
Runner-up: Batya Kaplan ’23: The Forgotten Fan Base

Honorable Mention: Selina Wu ’23: Can I Laugh at This?
Honorable Mention: Avani Shah-Lipman ’25: The Three Bubble Tea Shops on Lancaster Avenue

All of these podcasts were completed as projects for the Journalism class this past spring.
