Stephanie Weiss '02 is being honored by the New York Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on November 8 at the 2017 ADL NY NextGen IMAGINE Gala, which supports the ADL and aims to stop the spread of hatred and intolerance. Stephanie is active in the Jewish community and the ADL, serving a two-year term as Co-Chair of the Next Generation Philanthropy (NGP) Executive Board, for which she received the ADL's Future is Now award in 2015.
NGP is the founding emerging philanthropic division of ADL in New York City. Originally founded in 2002, NGP has attracted more 3,000 emerging philanthropists and has raised more than $1 million for ADL's work in New York City.
After graduating from Baldwin, Stephanie attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Economics, Management, Business and Public Policy, and French. She has been awarded the Nelson Scholarship to Wharton, Teaching Assistant for Wharton Management 100, volunteers for the university interviewing applicants in New York City, served on reunion committees at PENN, has been a committed donor to PENN and was selected for membership in the Lantern Senior Society, which recognizes leaders of Wharton. Stephanie has risen in the ranks at Bernstein Global Wealth Management over the past five years to her current title of Vice President.
