Clubs, Camps, Clinics and Lessons

Baldwin Athletics offers a variety of clubs, camps, clinics and private lessons throughout the school year and summer for students as well as non-students. See below for information on all of our current sports programs and offerings.

2019 Winter Soccer SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS

2019 Baldwin Soccer SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS

Adrian Cox, Assistant Director of Athletics and Varsity Soccer Head Coach, will be directing the growing and popular Baldwin Soccer SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS program for girls and boys in grades Pre-K - 5. There will be eight sessions in the Athletic Center gym on the following dates:

Soccer SATURDAYS

When: Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26 & Feb. 2, 9, 16, 23

Grades Pre-K, K and 1 (9-10 a.m.)
Grades 2 and 3 (10-11 a.m.)
Grades 4 and 5 (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

Cost: $160 per child
All checks made payable to "The Baldwin School" and can be dropped off at the Athletic Center to Adrian Cox in room 107 or mailed to:

When: Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 & Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24 

Grades Pre-K, K and 1 (1-2 p.m.)
Grades 2 and 3 (2-3 p.m.)
Grades 4 and 5 (3-4 p.m.)

Cost: $160 per child

The Baldwin Soccer SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS program focuses on individual skill development, small group exercises and team games in a safe and fun setting. All skill levels and schools welcome.

Learn to Row Program

Baldwin School Crew – 8th & 9th Grade Learn to Row Program 

Location: Undine Barge Club (13 Boathouse Row Philadelphia, PA 19130)

Program Overview: Learn to Row camp is an opportunity for 8th and 9th graders to try out a new sport and begin to learn the basic skills used in rowing.

Structure:
-$250 per athlete

-Athletes will first learn basic technique on ergs, equipment handling and river safety before getting into a boat

-Learn to Row athletes will be boated with experienced crew members to learn rowing basics, drills and how to work as a team

Athlete Requirements:

-Undine Barge Club Waiver Form

-Passed swim test

-Physical up to date

Saturday September 15th 12-2pm 

Sunday September 16th 12-2pm

Learn to Golf Program

Learn to Golf Program

For: K - 8th Grade

Location: The Baldwin School (Athletic Fields and Athletic Center Multipurpose Room)

Coaches: Baldwin Varsity Golf Head Coach Grant Griffiths

Program Overview: "Learn to Golf" is an opportunity for K - 8th graders to try out a new sport and begin to learn the fundamental skills needed to play golf. The "Learn to Golf" program provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to improve their skills and build towards one day joining the Upper School golf program.

Structure:

- $300 per athlete

- Weekly Classes are designed to provide athletes with a fun group coaching environment.

- Classes are held on the Baldwin Athletics fields to learn the game, set goals and develop new skills. All golf equipment is provided for the classes.

- Master Golf Teaching Professional and Varsity Golf Head Coach Grant Griffiths will work through a 6-week curriculum that includes golf fundamentals, drills and games.

- "Learn to Golf" athletes will be grouped in two classes according to age and grade.

Baldwin Parent Morning Fitness Camp

Join Baldwin Strength & Conditioning Coach Christian Jeantet after dropping your child off at school for a diverse fitness class focusing on core, flexibility, strength and stability. A variety of equipment utilized including kettlebells, battling ropes, bands, TRX and weights. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Baldwin Swim Club

Baldwin Swim Club (BSC) offers competitive swimming for males and females ages 6 and up, with an emphasis on technique, race preparation, conditioning and fun. Personalized attention and instruction will be given to every swimmer. Our mission is to have a nationally recognized aquatics program that improves the quality of the competitive swimming experience, while giving young men and women the tools to succeed in life.
