Nine Baldwin School Seniors Honored by National Merit Program
BRYN MAWR, PA – Sept. 27, 2018 – The Baldwin School is proud to announce that nine students from its senior class have been recognized by the National Merit® Scholarship Program. The Baldwin School Celebrates 130th Graduating Class
BRYN MAWR, PA – June 11, 2018 – On Thursday, June 7, 71 seniors graduated from The Baldwin School as the 130th graduating class. These seniors earned 223 acceptances to 106 colleges and universities. Ninety percent were admitted to their top choice schools. Read more here

Baldwin School Celebrates Its 129th Graduating Class
BRYN MAWR, PA – June 9, 2017 — On Thursday, June 8, 57 seniors graduated from The Baldwin School as the 129th graduating class. These seniors earned 253 acceptances to 135 colleges and universities across 18 states in the US and 3 countries. Seventy-one percent were admitted to their first choice college. Read more here.

Baldwin School Presents "Women on the Rise" Speaker Series
BRYN MAWR, PA – Nov. 21, 2016 – The Baldwin School proudly invites you to “Women on the Rise,” a three-part Speaker series that is free and open to the public. Baldwin will host three incredible women making significant contributions in their particular fields, beginning December 5 with Monica Yunus, an American operatic soprano and the co-founding director of Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization whose mission is to make the arts available to all. Baldwin Publishes "The Baldwin Review"
BRYN MAWR, PA – Nov. 1, 2016 –  The Baldwin School is proud to announce it has published The Baldwin Review, its first ever collection of individual research papers produced by Upper School students. The project was initiated by junior Eliza Thaler ’18, and its purpose is to provide a tangible platform for students to display their projects and papers that are independent from class assignments. Dr. Marisa Porges Installed as 8th Head of The Baldwin School
BRYN MAWR, PA – Sept. 12, 2016 – Marisa Porges, Ph.D., was officially installed as the eighth Head of The Baldwin School on Friday, September 9, in front of more than 1,000 students, faculty, staff, trustees, parents, alumnae and other community leaders. She is a 1996 graduate of The Baldwin School and the first alumna to be named Head of School. Read more here.

The Baldwin School Welcomes 8th Head of School Dr. Marisa Porges
BRYN MAWR, PA – July 5, 2016 – The Baldwin School is proud to welcome Marisa Porges, Ph.D., as the eighth Head of the 128-year-old all-girls school, located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Dr. Porges began her tenure on July 1. Dr. Porges, a 1996 graduate of The Baldwin School, most recently served at the White House, as White House Fellow to the National Economic Council. Baldwin Celebrates Its 128th Graduating Class
BRYN MAWR, PA – June 10, 2016 — On Thursday, June 9, 62 seniors graduated from The Baldwin School as the 128th graduating class. These seniors earned 275 acceptances to 136 colleges and universities across 21 states in the US. Seventy-three percent of those who indicated a preference were admitted to their first or second choice college. Read more here

Margo Schoenberg ’16 Awarded SMU President’s Scholarship
BRYN MAWR, PA – May 31, 2016 – Margo Schoenberg ’16, a member of The Baldwin School’s 14 Year Club — having been a student here since Pre-Kindergarten— has been awarded the President’s Scholarship from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX. The award is the highest academic merit award given by the University and represents SMU’s highest commitment to attract and serve high-achieving students. President’s scholars receive full tuition, room and board for four years. Read more here.

Aurora Guo ’16 Wins Prestigious Jefferson Scholarship to University of Virginia
BRYN MAWR, PA – May 20, 2016 – Aurora Guo ’16, a senior at The Baldwin School, has been awarded one of the most highly selective merit scholarships in the nation. The Jefferson Scholars Foundation at the University of Virginia selected Aurora as one of 34 recipients of the Jefferson Scholarship. She will attend the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, in the fall. Read more here.

Dr. Marisa Porges '96 Named Head of Baldwin School
BRYN MAWR, PA – Dec. 5, 2015 – The Baldwin School Board of Trustees today announced that it selected Marisa Porges, Ph.D., of Washington, DC, to lead the next generation of Baldwin students. She will be the eighth Head of the 127-year-old all-girls school, located in Bryn Mawr, PA. Dr. Porges will succeed long-serving head Sally Powell on July 1, 2016. Read more here.

Baldwin School to Begin Construction on Performing Arts Center

Baldwin Squash Program Wins Two National Titles
BRYN MAWR, PA – Feb. 9, 2015 – Baldwin’s Varsity and Junior Varsity squash teams each won the 2015 US Squash High School National Championship for their respective division on February 8 in Hartford, Connecticut. The event is the largest team squash tournament in the world. Read more here.

Cox to Take Reigns of Baldwin Varsity Soccer Program
BRYN MAWR, PA – Jan. 7, 2015 – Adrian Cox has been named varsity soccer head coach at The Baldwin School, announced today by Deb Surgi, director of athletics. Cox is currently in his second year as Baldwin’s assistant athletic director and coached the Middle School soccer team to an undefeated Inter-Ac League season this past fall. Cox has more than 15 years of experience as a coach at the club, high school and college level. Read more here.
