Baldwin Tennis Coach Collects 100th Career Win
Oct. 2, 2018 — On September 28, Varsity Tennis Coach Jeff Sacks earned his 100th career win at Baldwin when his team defeated Inter-Ac foe Academy of Notre Dame 7-0. Pacing the way was Torrie Smith '20 at No. 1 singles with a 6-4 7-5 win. Izzy Antanavicius '22 won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles while Presley Daggett '21 won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Lauren Bracken '19 Is Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week
Sept. 18, 2018 — As a senior defender for Baldwin's Varsity soccer team, Lauren Bracken '19 has played a key role in the team's success this fall so far (four consecutive shutouts, 3-0-1 record as of Sept. 17). Lauren is head of Baldwin's Athletic Association and a member of the Lower Merion Soccer Club Storm Team, which won the 2017 and 2018 Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association State Cup Championship and is the No. 1 ranked club team in state for their age group. Gia Vicari '19 Named Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week
Sept. 25, 2017 — Congratulations to Gia Vicari '19, who's been named Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week. Gia is Baldwin’s all-time leading soccer scorer (46 career goals scored as of Monday). Last fall, as a sophomore, she set a Baldwin single-season scoring record (27 goals), led the Polar Bears to their best season in program history (17-7, PAISAA state tournament semifinalist) and received first team All-Inter-Ac and All-Main Line honors. Sept. 21, 2017 — Congratulations to Sara Syed '18, who's been named Main Line Student of the Week. Sara was invited to sit on the inaugural board of TechGirlz and, after winning a grant from the National Council for Women in Technology, initiated a program to bring technology education to the Overbrook Educational Center called "G.E.T. Baldwin Retains Middle School National Title
Jan. 30, 2017 — The 2017 U.S. Middle School Team Squash Championships top seed Baldwin School claimed their second national title at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Baldwin entered as the defending girls’ division I champions, and held off a semifinal challenge from seven-time champions Greenwich Academy to reach the final 4-1. In the final, the Bears defeated 2012 finalists Greenwich Country Day School 4-1 to capture their second consecutive national title. Read more here from US Squash.
The Baldwin MS Survivor Challenge
Jan. 18, 2017 — Three days before Winter Break, Baldwin's Middle School girls were encouraged to tap into their creative problem-solving skills to collaborate across grades to tackle four different design challenges. Jen Dietrich '17 Named Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week
June 2, 2015 — Baldwin School sophomore Jen Dietrich, the first person to win an individual gold medal and state title in Baldwin track and field history when she ran 58.05 in the 400-meter run to capture first place at the Pennsylvania Independent School Athletic Association (PAISAA) Track and Field Championship, is the Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week for June 7.

Baldwin School to Begin Construction of Performing Arts Center

Empty Bowls Supper Raises More Than $10K for Hunger Relief
Feb. 24, 2015 — More than 450 people attended the Empty Bowls Supper at The Agnes Irwin School on Feb. 22, netting more than $10,000 for hunger relief initiatives. Organized by the student service boards at Agnes Irwin, Haverford and Baldwin, the evening consisted of a soup dinner prepared by students under the direction of Chef Carlo Demarco of 333 Belrose, as well as performances by student a capella groups, raffles and a silent auction. Valerie Yoshimura Is Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week
Feb. 22, 2015 — Senior Valerie Yoshimura has had a stellar career as a Baldwin swimmer and is the 2015 Inter-Ac champion in both the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle. She is this week's Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week and featured in the February 22, 2015 edition of the paper.
