Claire Bond Potter '76, a professor of history at the New School and the executive editor of Public Seminar, was recently on the MSNBC News program Andrea Mitchell Reports talking about how "likeability" is a quality defined by men for men that leaves most women political candidates in the realm of the "unlikable." Her appearance was based on her recent New York Times Op-Ed titled "Men Invented 'Likability.' Guess Who Benefits."
