Baldwin Publishes Volumn 3 of The Baldwin Review

The Baldwin School is proud to announce it has published Volume 3 of The Baldwin Review, a collection of individual research papers produced by Upper School students. Originally launched by Eliza Thaler ’18, it was spearheaded this year by Simi Bleznak ’19 and Anoushka Gidh ’19. The Review provides a tangible platform for students to display their academic projects and papers that are independent from class assignments. Because a Baldwin girl’s intellectual curiosity is limitless, the journal is inclusive of a wide variety of different topics in different fields. This year’s edition includes 10 research papers.

“Two years ago, Eliza Thaler ’18 founded The Baldwin Review with the purpose of capturing the intellectual spirit of Baldwin students in their academic endeavors outside of Baldwin’s gates. We are honored to be continuing her legacy with the publication of the journal’s third edition,” wrote Simi Bleznak ’19 and Anoushka Gidh ’19 in the publication’s Forward. “This year’s collection includes 10 scientific research papers written by members of the Class of 2019, who spent their summers in labs and hospitals in the Greater Philadelphia area as well as Shanghai, China. Each paper in this journal is the culmination of months of hard work and dedication. While reading through each one, we were struck by the sophistication and rigor of each body of work; each exemplifies the curiosity and global impact of Baldwin students. We are grateful to have been a part of The Baldwin Review these past two years and are excited to see Baldwin girls continue to be at the forefront of academic pursuits in the years to come.”
