Baldwin Students Participate in State DECA Conference

Thirty-four members of DECA at Baldwin participated in the 70th Annual State Career Development Conference held virtually from February 17 -19. DECA is an international organization that focuses on promoting careers in marketing, management, hospitality and entrepreneurship through a year-long roster of student competitions. More than 2,200 students participated in the three-day state conference.

This year the group had an extraordinary showing with 14 students who qualified to move onto the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) for DECA, which will be held from April 19 - 23. Ten additional students won awards for placing within the top 6 of their competitive categories. Congratulations to all our winners and participants!

Also, congratulations to seniors Presley Daggett, Grace Lavin, Maya Murray and Theresa Kay, who placed 1st in the Quiz Bowl. The Quiz Bowl is at the state level only.
