In the fall English elective "Fairy Tales Reinvented," six senior students — Destiny Brown, Jane McAleese, Savannah Sanford, Ashley Tate, Cartier Thomas and Olivia Tornetta — explored two questions: What is a fairy tale? Are fairy tales still relevant in a modern world?

Baldwin Students Participate at DECA Districts

On November 27, 14 Upper School students from the Baldwin DECA club attended the District 11 competition in King of Prussia. The Baldwin DECA team placed in six events, advancing to compete at the State conference in Hershey in February.

Lauren Bracken '19 is Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week

Senior soccer defender Lauren Bracken has played a key role in Baldwin's success this fall (four consecutive shutouts, 3-0-1 record as of Sept. 17). Baldwin soccer head coach Adrian Cox said of the four-year starting defender: "She has been instrumental in building the Baldwin soccer program the past four years. She's a versatile multi-sport athlete [basketball, lacrosse], very humble, modest and respected leader on and off the field. Lauren will be a great addition to the college program that is fortunate to get her services. She is a model student-athlete with strong moral character and integrity."
