Highlights & Statistics

The Baldwin Lacrosse Team continued to play strong and leave it on the field against the Academy of the New Church with a final score of Baldwin, 9 and ANC, 12. Although the game did not end in victory, it was a great effort across the entire team. The team was led in goals by Senior Captain Eliza Bryant and Grade-8 player Annie Reed with 3 goals each. Followed by Juniors Anya Berlanska, 2 goals, and Bela Ahn, 1 goal. Eliza and Dylan helped fuel the goals with assists. Anya, Bela, and Eliza dominated in the midfield on the draw. Perseverance on ground ball pickups helped to move the ball downfield thanks to Senior Captains Eliza and Lauren; Juniors Bela, Dylan, Lexi McCurdy, and Anya; and Grade-8 players Annie, Sophia Gill, Abby Ahn, and Betsy Taylor. Anya, Dylan, Lexi, and Sophia caused turnovers in the midfield to help get BLT to the goal. Junior Anna Magarelli spent time making saves in the goal and on the field as a defender. Freshman Mia Cicilia was also a strong force in goal with saves throughout the game. BLT continues to work hard as a team and make themselves proud!
