Applying to Baldwin

The Admissions review process carefully considers each applicant's strengths, ability to thrive and future contributions to our community. Information from parents, a student's school and our in-house assessments help us get to know each applicant. Our objective is to ensure students are best placed for success and to provide them with a learning environment where they will develop and grow to be their best selves.

Baldwin operates a year-long admissions process. Spaces are allocated beginning with the Early Review of applications in December. After this, applications are accepted on a rolling basis until spaces are filled. Applications to our traditional entry points are competitive and we encourage families to apply in the fall. Traditional entry grades are Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 6 and Grade 9, however, we welcome applications to all grades.

  • Early Review - To be notified of the admissions decision in December, the admissions file must be completed in its entirety by December 1.
  • Rolling Admissions - All applications completed after December 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Our admissions team will advise you of the review timeline once your application is complete.
