Baldwin is excited to announce two new fall head coaches for the 2026-27 school year. Anna-Kate DePaolo is directing the Upper School Varsity Soccer team, while Head of Middle School Dr. Saburah Posner is the Middle School Field Hockey Head Coach. 

Coach Anna-Kate DePaolo serves as the Assistant Technical Director and Olympic Development Program Coordinator for the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association, where she oversees programming for hundreds of players and coaches throughout the region. In this role, she leads coach education initiatives, player development pathways, and high-level soccer programming while working closely with athletes, families, coaches, and clubs across Eastern Pennsylvania.

 

Before joining EPYSA, Coach DePaolo spent more than a decade in collegiate athletics, serving as Head Women's Soccer Coach at DeSales University and as an assistant coach at Washington and Lee University and Muhlenberg College, where she also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. She holds a Master's Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from Lock Haven University and a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her coaching credentials include a U.S. Soccer C License (currently pursuing her U.S. Soccer B License), U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coach Educator certification, a Master Coach and Leadership Certificate from the University of Delaware, a Scottish FA C License, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.

 

Coach DePaolo believes the most successful athletic experiences develop both the player and the person. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes curiosity, resilience, accountability, and teamwork, creating an environment where young women are challenged to compete with confidence.

 

Coach Saburah Posner, Baldwin's Head of Middle School, will be coaching Middle School Field Hockey this fall. Before competing in rugby for the New York Rugby Club and earning selection to the U.S. National Rugby player pool, Coach Saburah was a standout collegiate field hockey player at Goucher College. She played all four years, served as team captain for three seasons, was a leading scorer, and earned All-Conference honors twice. She later won two USA Rugby National Championships, experiences that further shaped her commitment to teamwork, resilience, and leadership.

 

Coach Saburah is thrilled to return to the sport and share her expertise, passion, and enthusiasm with Baldwin's Middle School field hockey players. She is committed to creating a competitive, supportive, and inclusive environment where student-athletes build strong fundamental skills, compete with confidence, and discover the lifelong value of being part of a team.
