The
Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the
Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs allow Pennsylvania taxpayers and business owners to support independent schools through scholarship funds. By participating in these programs, individuals and organizations can earn a tax credit of up to
90% of certain Pennsylvania taxes while helping provide access to a Baldwin education for students who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
At Baldwin, nearly $2 million per year in tuition assistance is funded through the EITC and OSTC programs. Donors contributed either directly through their businesses or as individual taxpayers, ensuring that more qualified students can benefit from a Baldwin experience. We invite you to consider joining this vital effort to expand educational opportunities and transform lives.
Tax credits are available on a first-come, first-served basis for contributions to scholarship organizations, such as The Baldwin School. Credits can be applied against the tax liability for the year in which the contribution is made. Both businesses and individuals can receive a tax credit equal to 75% of their contribution, with a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. Participants who commit to contributing to Baldwin for two consecutive years may be eligible for a tax credit equal to 90% of their contribution.
