Working at Baldwin

Our Mission

The Baldwin School, an independent college preparatory school, develops talented girls into confident young women with vision, global understanding and the competency to make significant and enduring contributions to the world. The School nurtures our students’ passion for intellectual rigor in academics, creativity in the arts and competition in athletics, forming women capable of leading their generation while living balanced lives.

Professional Growth

Baldwin faculty and staff will engage in professional growth and enrichment in order to ensure that teachers’ classrooms continue to develop and reflect current best practices, while also facilitating academic experiences that challenge their students and model lifelong learning. Baldwin holds dedicated Professional Development days each school year for all faculty and staff.

The approach is designed to help each colleague set goals authentically, encourage innovation and risk-taking, promote self-reflection, and meet the needs of our faculty at different points in their careers.
