Middle School Life

Baldwin provides many opportunities outside the classroom for Middle School girls to foster a lifelong interest and enthusiasm for learning as well as find emotional and educational support, embodying The Baldwin School’s mission to develop the whole child in a supportive, evolving environment.

Clubs

Clubs offer students the opportunity to explore a topic in depth, relax, learn something new, express themselves creatively or work on a community service project. With options ranging from Technology Student Association (TSA) to gardening, Middle School students can pursue their interests and try something new.

Student Government

There are many opportunities for leadership and membership in the Middle School. Senate, Service League, Athletic Association and Arts League make up the four Middle School student government organizations. Students may serve as an active member or on the Board in one of these groups.

Athletics

Middle School marks the time when girls start to compete in sports, if they choose. With a variety of teams to select from, girls can continue to hone a sport they already play or try something new. They compete against other schools in the Inter-Ac and play both home and away games.
