Cooper ’21, Mostek ’22 Win Silver Medals at Championships

Baldwin had two student-athletes win silver medals at the Easterns Swimming and Diving Championships on February 15. Easterns is the largest and premier prep swimming and diving meet in the country. Franklin and Marshall College hosted the swimming events and Germantown Academy was the site for diving.

 

Megan Cooper ’21 finished in second place overall out of 23 competitors in diving with a score of 381 points. She broke her previous school record for 11 dives.

 

Anya Mostek ’22 finished in second place in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 55.35. Mostek also placed fourth in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) with a time of 2:03.83. She set a new school record in the 200IM and broke her previous school record in the 100 Backstroke.

 

Baldwin swimming and diving finished in 10th place overall as a team with 217 points.
