Roman Candle Earns CSPA Gold Medal

The 2019-2020 edition of Baldwin’s literary magazine The Roman Candle has received a Gold Medal from Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA). The judge praised the editors, Abigail Dubinski '21 and Jessica Zhu '21, and the staff for publishing a polished, meticulously edited and visually engaging magazine under the difficult circumstances of collaborating virtually during the pandemic. The judge also singled out for praise the wide variety of interesting topics covered by the writing pieces. Currently the staff is in the final stages of designing this year’s edition of The Roman Candle which will celebrate the creativity of Baldwin’s talented writers and artists.
