The event consists of a simple soup supper, a display of student artwork, a silent auction, performances by the acapella groups of each school, and a gift shop of items, including a selection of student and art faculties-created bowls. The Empty Bowls Project is an international effort to fight hunger, and the project is personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. Our family-friendly event is open to all members of the Baldwin, Haverford, and Agnes Irwin communities and to donors. This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $12,000 in our fight against hunger.
