Alicia Roebuck ’05

Distinguished Young Alumna Award

Alicia Roebuck ‘05 is the Assistant Vice President of Inclusive Hiring Practices at Chubb, a global property and casualty insurance company. With more than 8 years of experience in recruitment and career development, Alicia is passionate about helping people find meaningful, purpose-driven work.

She has successfully led recruitment teams at a global consumer insights company and one of the largest communications and social media organizations in the world. Prior to entering the
talent space, Alicia spent over 7 years in consumer insights, helping clients measure content performance across TV, online and mobile platforms.

In 2014, Alicia founded Confident Career Women Inc., an organization dedicated to building confidence in women through impactful programming, engaging content and empowering events. She later launched Career Conversations for the Culture, a career development YouTube channel that offers candid advice for navigating work and life, particularly for
underrepresented professionals. Alicia received her coach training from the Co-Active Training Institute in 2021 and coaches high performers who are proactively planning their next career move.

A proud graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Alicia earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Business and MBA through the university’s competitive 5-year program. She also studied Global Business abroad at Shanghai University in China. Alicia graduated from Baldwin in 2005 as a proud member of the Class of Green. She has been an active part of the School’s alumnae leadership, serving on the Alumnae Association Executive Board, now the Alumnae Leadership Council (ALC), since 2017 and was President from 2021 to 2024. As president, Alicia championed connection, community and the power of Baldwin’s network. 

In addition to her leadership on the ALC, Alicia served on the Class of Green Reunion Committee, volunteered as the 2022 Black Student Union Speaker and the 2020 Alex Wake Tribute Speaker, participated in the 2020 Career Day and conducted mock interviews in 2019 and 2020 for the Germination Project. She currently resides in her hometown of West Philadelphia, where she was born and raised.
