Adam Kishbauch
Bass, Drums, Guitar, Ukulele
Adam Kishbauch teaches private guitar, bass, ukulele and drums, and is ecstatic to share his love for music with private students at Baldwin. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rutgers University and a Master of Music Education from Westminster Choir College, Adam has explored a wide variety of musical outlets for the past 30 years. He began his formal musical training on the drums and percussion but quickly looked to diversify his music education by learning the guitar, double bass and bass guitar through school ensembles. He found a passion for teaching when joining a private lesson conservatory in New Jersey in 2011, using a myriad of teaching methods to educate students of all ages and backgrounds.
Adam is also the Middle School music teacher and Handbell director at Baldwin. His primary goal for private students is to honor their musical world and use their interests to create a foundational love for music-making. Once students realize that they already possess innate skills for music-making, the focus becomes about figuring out how to put their voice and creativity into the desired instrument while honing the important techniques to make playing easy and rewarding.
