The Baldwin School Announces 2026 Commencement Speakers

On June 4, The Baldwin School will proudly graduate its 138th class, marking a milestone moment for our students, families, and faculty. We are delighted to announce the speakers who will help us celebrate this special occasion.

Our 2026 Commencement Keynote Speaker will be Baldwin alumna Sara Scott Trapanese ’96, Executive Vice President of Production Development at Universal Pictures. A leader in the film industry, Sara has spent more than 15 years at Universal overseeing feature film projects, including Ted, Straight Outta Compton, Pitch Perfect, Girls Trip, Get Out, Jurassic World, The Purge franchise, and Glass. Prior to joining Universal in 2010, she worked at Harpo Films and at New Regency. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and currently resides in Los Angeles. Her career reflects creativity, leadership, and a deep commitment to storytelling, making her an inspiring voice for our graduates.

We are also honored to welcome Rabbi Geri Newburge, Senior Rabbi of Main Line Reform Temple, who will deliver the invocation. Ordained at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, Rabbi Newburge is a respected leader within the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Delaware Valley Area Reform Rabbis. Her work has focused on pastoral care, youth engagement, interfaith relationships, social action, and creating meaningful worship experiences. Rabbi Newburge brings warmth, wisdom, and a strong sense of community to this important ceremony.

We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 with these distinguished guests and the entire Baldwin community.
