Congratulations to the Baldwin students who were awarded prizes in the Charlotte Miller Simon Poetry Contest hosted by the Ardmore Public Library.
Children's Division
- 1st Place: "Between the Keys" by Aurora Shams ’32
- Third Place: "Two Wheels, No Fears " by Lyla Rizvi ’33
Teen Division
- Third place: "Apples" by Sarah-Angelica Tarka ’28
- Honorable Mention: "Morning, Repeated" by Emily Braca ’27
- Honorable Mention: "The Park in Essex County" by Han-Ya Chen ’30
- Honorable Mention: "willows swaying gracefully in the wind (Chinese characters)" by Yee-Yee Li ’27
- Honorable Mention: "A Slice of Light" by Yoyo Lu ’27
The winning poets are invited to read their poems to the audience at a Poetry Celebration on March 15 at Lower Merion Township Administration Building.
