Upper School Students Attend DECA State Career Development Conference
Last week, 25 students from Baldwin's DECA chapter participated in the State Career and Development Conference (SCDC) in Hershey, PA. Our students were among more than 3,500+ Pennsylvania students who spent three days presenting, problem solving, interviewing, and attending professional workshops.
Baldwin was greatly represented and we are proud to share that our chapter earned three medals and four "DECA Glass" awards, which are glass trophy’s given to students who place first through fifth in their events. Two individuals and one team qualified to advance to the International Career and Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, GA, this April. Congratulations to all participants!
- Claire Doelger ’29 - Earned a medal for top scores.
- Claire Farrand ’27 - Earned DECA Glass in her event for 4th place.
- Clara Chen ’27 - Earned DECA Glass in her event for 3rd place and is advancing to ICDC.
- Emily Wang ’27 - Earned two medals and DECA Glass in her event for 4th place and is advancing to ICDC.
- Lisa Tang ’27 & Damia Je ’27 - Earned DECA Glass in their event for 2nd place and are advancing to ICDC.
