The Baldwin School Celebrates Its 137th Graduating Class – Class of 2025

On June 5, 66 seniors graduated from The Baldwin School as the 137th graduating class. These seniors earned 358 acceptances to 180 unique colleges and universities.
 
This year's commencement keynote speaker was Ruth Davidon MacQuarrie '82. A Baldwin alumna, Olympian and physician, Dr. MacQuarrie embodies The Baldwin School’s mission to develop women with the confidence, resilience and intellectual curiosity to make significant contributions to the world. She graduated cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in Biology and Political Science, completed graduate work in immunology at Harvard and earned her M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1998.
 
The student class speaker for the 2025 commencement ceremony was Riya Rao. Miss Rao, who was elected by her peers, delivered her speech on June 5 at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.
 
Facts about The Baldwin School Class of 2025:
 
  • More than 55% of students received acceptances into an Ivy League+ school including Columbia University, Cornell University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt University and Yale University.
  • 41 percent recognized by National Merit Scholarship Program, with 4 students receiving scholarships.
  • Class average SAT scores were 392 points above the national average.
