After School Programs and Care

Girls in Pre-K - Grade 5 are invited to participate in after-school programs to enrich their day of learning.

Cubs Club

For Baldwin’s Early Childhood Center and Lower School girls, Cubs Club is an opportunity to extend the learning and fun from the school day. An abundant selection of developmentally appropriate clubs allows Baldwin girls to learn new skills, explore new areas of interest or delve deeper into subjects they already enjoy. Led by Baldwin faculty and local expert instructors, Cubs Club programs are offered each trimester and meet weekly.

Courses fall into the following categories:
  • Creative Arts
  • Explorations in STEAM
  • Mind & Body
  • Readers & Writers

Baldwin Buds

Open to Baldwin girls in Pre-K through Grade 5, Baldwin Buds offers a safe and fun learning environment located in bright and cheerful rooms in the newly renovated Early Childhood Center in the Residence.

The after-school program consists of a snack, some homework time as well as free and structured play time. If a Baldwin Bud will be attending any of the Cubs Club programs or taking a music lesson with the Conservatory, one of the adult caregivers will deliver her or pick her up from that activity.

Conservatory

The Baldwin Conservatory offers weekly private instruction on piano, voice, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, trumpet, trombone, guitar, ukelele, banjo and harp. These lessons are given before, during and after the school day. Participation in a recital is encouraged.
