Alumna Clara Page ’22 Recognized as UC Berkeley Scholar-Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to Clara Page ’22, who was recognized as the University of California Berkeley JAMBAR Scholar-Athlete of the Week. Clara is a member of the women's lacrosse team and has distinguished herself by pursuing holistic development throughout her time at UC Berkeley, intentionally building a bridge between passion and purpose. She strategically leveraged both curricular and co-curricular opportunities, embracing identity, community, and scholarship from the moment she arrived on campus. Whether in the classroom or on the field, Clara leaned into connection as a source of growth, strengthening both her academic and athletic pursuits.
The JAMBAR Olympic Sports Scholar-Athlete of the Week program was created to recognize the academic development and achievements of Olympic sports student-athletes at UC Berkeley. Through nominations from the Athletic Study Center and Intercollegiate Athletics staff, the program honors students who exemplify Berkeley’s high academic standards while actively engaging in opportunities that foster academic growth, wellness and performance, leadership development, and professional exploration.
Beyond her personal achievements, Clara demonstrated meaningful leadership and service. She served as Co-founder and Chief Communications Officer for SAFE (Student Athletes for the Environment), where she championed sustainability, conservation, and improved waste management within Cal Athletics facilities. Her commitment to storytelling and impact extended to her work with the ASC Social Media Committee, where she supported site management and content creation with a focus on branding and narrative strategy.
Clara also invested deeply in her peers, mentoring fellow student-athletes in the Scholar-Athlete First-Year Seminar and guiding them through their transition to Berkeley with an emphasis on self-awareness, relationships, and resilience. Her dedication to growth and professional development culminated in securing a full-time role in L’Oreal’s Management Training Program, beginning Fall 2026, following a successful Marketing Internship in Summer 2025.
As Clara concludes her Cal journey this spring, the university celebrates not only her many contributions to the Berkeley community, but also the lasting legacy she leaves behind — one defined by leadership, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
