Students Participate in State DECA Conference
Congratulations to the Upper School students who attended the recent PA DECA State Career Development Conference. This past fall, the DECA team traveled to Temple University to compete at the District 11 conference. Many of the team members won awards in several categories, advancing to the recent state conference. The fall results were:
- High Test Score for Finance: Eliana Jean ’24
- First Place in Event: Eliana Jean ’24, Laura Mantini ’24, Annie Cahill ’25 and Summer He ’25
- Second Place in Event: Katie McCullough ’25, Leela Rajagopal ’25 and Brooke Woo ’25
- Third Place in Event: Macy Li ’26, Claire Lu ’26 and Dani Loveman ’27
- Fourth Place in Event: Charly Landow ’25 and Addison Milner ’25
- Fifth Place in Event: Lulu Goldenberg ’25, Audrey Taylor ’25, Eve Cohen ’27 and Harper Lawson ’27
In February, 30 students attended the DECA PA State Conference in Hershey where our students were among a record breaking number of competitors (3,300+) in various events.
Congratulations to Summer He ’25 who received a medal for High Test score in her event, Apparel & Accessories Marketing, and to Annie Cahill ’25, who also received a medal for high test score in the Food Marketing Series. Annie also placed 3rd in that same event, advancing to Nationals in Anaheim, CA.
